This ongoing project involves basement, extension and alteration works and full refurbishment to a Victorian terraced house situated in the heart of Notting Hill.

The house originally comprised 4 floors, plus a small lower ground floor. Chase have been employed to undertake a full refurbishment, whilst constructing a new double level basement below the house, a contiguous piled basement below the garden, and an additional floor at roof level. This will culminate in a 7-storey house, including passenger lift, due for completion Summer 2018.

Extensive temporary works have been designed and put into place in order to support the existing building, before 10 metre concrete piles were inserted into the ground.

The completed house will have a high level of floor & wall finishes, joinery, timber & metal staircases with glass balustrades, and a building management system with lighting control. A feature will be a 6 metre high open plan glass atrium with sliding doors to the rear of the building leading to the garden.
